Review summary

Not planning another cruise. Not my thing with all the waiting to get off the ship. The entire guest being moved and so cramped made for a bad last impression.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
Nerve racking. Wasn’t clear on where to go or what to do.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Posh dining room had excellent help! Wait staff was remarkable! Food was a hit or miss. Not rememberable.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Comedy club was very popular. The problem was it was crowded and not enough seating. Build a bear was the same. Plus it was over priced.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
They were just ok.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Overwhelming.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
No comment.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Other than the smell from the toilet which I expected it was adequate.

Ship tip

Be prepared for horrible experience getting off the ship.

Cruising is not for everyone. Fair review from your perspective. Thanks

I can appreciate an honest review from you, because you came to the best conclusion for you. Cruising is not for everyone. For me and my wife it is the best and least expensive way to explore the world. We are introducing it to our children on the next one. Thanks for being honest with yourself, and just not trashing the cruise industry.

Definitely sounds like cruising is not for you. Seems like you have lots of issues that concern you with comments like “dirty, crowded, anxious, waiting in line” etc. Probably best to not cruise or maybe even travel with those concerns.

We've never had any problems with embarkation or debarkation in Galveston. Key West has many places to see. Once you learn how things go, it's easier. I always research the ship and ports when I book a cruise. It's a shame you didn't enjoy it.
