Review summary

Overall it was a Great experience since it was our first cruise. I had only heard stories before but now I experienced the feeling of being on a large ship and the Great service provided by all on board. I would have to do a lot of research to select our next one.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Fast to the Fun was the best excursion I stumbled upon before leaving.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The Posh Restaurant was an Awesome experience with Maria, Maria and Lloyd. We were in the far back center table. The service provided was above a 5 star rating. They treated us like long time Family. I was impressed with them remembering our names and preferences of drinks and any other necessities we had. They tool care of the kids with love and compassion as well.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I didn't use the pools, mainly I was letting the kids enjoy themselves and had fun watching them. I was impressed with the fitness room, the jogging track, PuttPutt and the basketball and volleyball courts, these were amazing to see on a ship. We were first timers so it was a thrill just to take it all in.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows we attended were Great. The music we listened to in various spots was entertaining.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
They would like to keep going back after Family time or mealtimes.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone on board was so attentive and Super nice. Michael our steward would go above and beyond with any requests we had.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This was our first time so we don't have anything to compare to, but we were impressed with the ship from front to rear. I was in awe of the staff always on top of anything that needed to be cleaned or wiped off.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was superb. I was told through blogs that space was limited but being on a ship, there was plenty of room for 2 people. Michael, our Steward kept it so nice and comfortable.

Ship tip

Do your research if you're a first time cruiser like us. If you don't, you will be lost in a ship that size.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

5 out of 5
No, we didn't do an excursion, we are from Houston so we know Galveston pretty well.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
I wish we had more time there.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

4 out of 5
The beach was a bit crowded. I wish that the number of ships didn't arrive on the same day.

Belize City, Belize

3 out of 5
What we have heard about Belize being so beautiful, we didn't get that impression just walking around. I suppose the only way you can really enjoy is by taking an excursion, but with a large group, that can get expensive. Too many ships arriving on the same day makes it a bit crowded on shore and the restaurants cannot keep up with the demand.

Disembarkation

Fast to the fun made this smooth and easy. I am glad we bought this option.
