Staff and entertainment on the ship was awesome but as far as my room horrible no air in it the whole trip....

Review summary

As far as the excursions and the staff and entertainment on the ship it was awesome but as far as our room it was miserable the whole trip because the air in our room did not work...it never got below 80 to 82 in our room the whole week...very upset with the room..could not even be moved to another room...it was my very first cruise and I was very disappointed...was told the air had been out in my cabin for 3 weeks before we boarded...so why wSnt it fixed.....

Our air was lacking on Freedom in August. We were in an interior on deck 7. They brought us a fan and comped us a steak dinner and 2 bottles of wine. All we asked for was a fan. The steak was a nice surprise. Sorry your first cruise was disappointing.

You should have received a portable fan from your cabin steward. While it's not as good as A/C it would have helped a little. If customer service agents told you the room was w/o a/c for 3 weeks and they still booked the took, I would call or email Carnivals corporate office and demand some type of compensation

Awww thats not right i would definitely write a compliment to head office but i would of been to customer service till they done something not good sorry you had a bad experience
