We had a good time but is not a cruise we would repeat because of the ports. We had not been to the Bahamas so wanted to check them out and did not care for them. We signed up for the social WiFi but it was iffy and did not work most of the time. The Hub app sometimes took an hour to send the message.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Very organized and very little waiting.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food is very good. Did not use table cloths in MDR except elegant nights but that was fine. Buffets had good variety of foods. Plenty to fo Most evenings are casual and men can wear nice looking shorts and most women wore capris. Most people looked nice in the dining rooms. Waiters very good in all areas.
Onboard Activities

Entertainment
4 out of 5
Stage shows were not just entertainers. Sometimes they were interactive game type shows. Very enjoyable though. All musical shows were very loud. Good variety if entertainers performing in clubs and open areas.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Malcolm the cruise director was excellent. Waiters and room stewards were very attentive.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Entire ship was clean and well maintained. It was at times confusing how to get from the front to the back on decks 3 and 4 especially. Parts of the ship were really too cold so you definitely need a coverup of some sort.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin itself was fine and we had enough room. We had plenty of hangers this time did not need to use ones I brought. Only one electrical outlet. My husband at times has to use a walker and the doorways are about 4 inches to small to accommodate easily. We had to maneuver and go sideways. He did not need other amenities so we did not request a medical room as some people need them more.
Ship tip
Make sure you have a sweater or something to cover up with. We were cold and I had never had to use one one on any other cruise.
If you cannot walk easily or are doing water activities not much to do. No tours were available. Area around pier wasok but variety of shopping limited.
Again nothing available as tour unless you are completely self mobile. You can use a walker around the pier area but not much there either. Were told even Atlantis could not accommodate a walker easily.
We will be on the Freedom in 54 days. Going to Jamaica, Grand Caymans, and Cozumel. This will be our 2nd cruise. Taking our Granddaughter this time for her 6th birthday.
