We would only cruise Varnival again if given a too hard to pass up deal! This was our third carnival cruise and by far the most disappointing on the Freedom!!

Food was very poor quality, especially the buffet!! Guys burgers were good, as was the pizza but, dining room good was terrible. The “prime rib” looked like plastic mystery meat. A few things were good but, overall awful unfortunately.

Adult pool was ok.. kids area very overcrowded . Very limited activities on board, especially for teens... very boring.... host was non existent

Theater shows were simply unbearable. We walked out. Very outdated and unimpressive.
DJ and pool music was fine. Nothing exciting in the bars, piano bar terrible

Don’t do it until they improve. Bring your oxygen mask if you want to gamble in the casino!!! So smoky you cannot breathe
@sarnesrn Was on Freedom June 2016 and again This June 2018, was amazing. We had NOT one issue and I honestly think this review fits the user name jerk. Freedom is a beautiful ship and EVERYONE on the ship was amazing. The food is food, I was not expecting 5 Star dining, yet we enjoyed all foods, we did dine in the Steak house and all foods were to our liking.
Sbarnesrn, don’t be nervous. This is a great ship. We were on the Freedom in March and it was wonderful. Our room steward Ivan was fabulous, the dining room staff were amazing, especially with my grandsons. I always go with a positive mind and enjoy my vacations to the fullest.
