I think Carnival ships have people of all ages with all interests. There are honeymooners, singles, famlies, and yes us " old folks" inour 60s and above. Some want to party, some want peace and quiet, some stay in the casino all the time. Any cruise is what you make of it.

Research, research, research!!! Just like resort vacations. Different resorts draw different crowds. Same on cruise ships.

I'm a very young 70's and my wife and I enjoy our cruises. We enjoy meeting people of all ages. If you want quite and rest you may want to book a cabin on the hospital ship USS Hope.

Guess you didn't do your research dear.

I think Carnival caters to everyone. My Fiancee and I went on the Freedom in Sept.the ship was great, staff was wonderful and plenty of peace and quiet.there were plenty of couples having a great time.it just depends on the time of year you go.and the Ship you cruuse on.We are taking the kiddos on the Breeze in December.Im expecting lots of families on this cruise because its December and its a more family friendly ship.

Yes, I'm afraid it is. What did you guys expect with a name like Carnival. I will cruise with Carnival for the 3rd time on March 3rd and the 4th time May 26th Memorial weekend. There are plenty places for rest and relaxation, far as kids. You picked the time you cruise and it seems as if you did no research prior to cruising Carnival and I'm in my 60's and enjoyed the activities on the Dream and will also enjoy the Freedom. Like someone said it's what you make of it, in my opinion you didn't give it your all. One bad experience and you are done. Well more room for me and all my Carnival family.

Every cruise is what you make of it... (I am in my 60s- itโ€™s not an age thing, itโ€™s an attitude thing)

No cruises listed in bio. I guess he never has seen a Carnival ad or looked at their web site, lol

If I had to guess, I would say you are in your 60s, right?

I completely disagree. Sometimes I cruise with a friend, sometimes I cruise with my spouse. I've never cruised with kids. Without exception, every cruise with Carnival has been complete relaxation for us. As for quiet, we choose our cabin carefully so that our stateroom is in a very quiet area, and we always get a balcony. We also cruise (with rare exception for a Journeys cruise or for Cuba) only from November through February, when there are few children on board. Was there some specific issue on your cruise?
