Review summary

So, the boarding was good and streamlined. The bags came to our room in a timely manner. Our steward, Yevhen, was excellent. Our waitstaff in the Posh restaurant for early seating was Sahbi, Aymen, and Kim and they were excellent and very attentive! Malcolm was funny and on top of things at all times. Very clean ship. Food in the dining room was yummy! Loved Guy's Burger Bar too. But I feel the ship was trying to get us to DRINK and BUY things most of the time. We spent only about $75 onboard. We are frugal peeps. Shows were very, very good!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was always excellent! I can't eat gluten so the chef accommodated me each and every night with GF items. Tried some new foods, enjoyed it all!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The PG rated comedians were so funny, esp. Carl! The shows were so good and entertaining. My hubby's fav day was lounging by the adult only pool from 10 to 4. LOL I think the adult only pools and hot tubs should be monitored as I saw several teens using them one night and the father was defending their using them.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Malcolm was hilarious and spontaneous....all the things you should be if you are doing games or quizzes. The dancers/singers were excellent and spot on!!

Children's Programs

no kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our steward, Yevhen, was top notch!! Always had our room spiffy and so clean! He was very attentive to our schedules. The waitstaff in the Posh were fantastic: Sahbi, Aymen, and Kim were professional and yet so warm! They were the best ever! We lacked nothing...Sahbi made sure I didn't get any gluten in my delicious meals each night! Blessing!

Ship Quality

always clean and fresh! and that's a hard thing to do.

Cabin / Stateroom

Very clean, no smells from the bathroom. A little noisy from the next door electrical room sometimes. Lots of closet space. Mattress could use an upgrade.

Ship tip

Be flexible and expect good things!

Ports of call

Montego Bay, Jamaica

Did the hop on/hop off tour. There is so much poverty and the vendors vary the prices so much you just wonder what the "real" price is...they see tourists and see dollar signs. Margaritaville was plagued by flies and extremely high prices for their little drinks. Ugh. Didn't see much, really. Except for a naked man by the side of the road and one peeing.

George Town, Grand Cayman

We did the Cayman in a Nutshell. Didn't get good explanation about where to catch the bus so we missed Hell and the turtle farm. We did go on a ship, saw and petted many stingrays (but the waves were so high they kept knocking me underwater). Did two snorkeling places....I didn't go because I go so banged up by the boat getting into the water with the stingrays. Husband did and liked it. Saw lots of fish/coral. Red picked us up and took us to get lunch (to go because of our tight schedule). Captain Marvin's tours are very good and accommodating. I would recommend them.

Cozumel, Mexico Did not visit port

wanted to relax all day.

Malcolm did a great job explaining and getting everyone off the boat in a timely manner.
