Review summary

Seriously, one of the best vacations I have ever taken! It took absolutely no effort on my part - the staff, crew and excursion companies took care of everything. The crew of the Freedom is extremely friendly and excited to be there. They love to stop and chat and will tell you anything you want to know about life on a boat! Special shoutout to Keishia at the Millennium Bar and Kerch at the Redfrog Pub - y'all seriously helped make our trip! I was also extremely impressed with the entertainment staff - Sabrina, Michelle and Malcolm. I have never seen a team that can orchestrate such large groups of people so well, all while keeping the experience fun! Only part we didn't like about the entire experience was the experience at the port. The staff there wasn't very helpful and never gave clear instructions. But once we got on the boat, everything was perfect!

Food and Dining

The dining room was INCREDIBLE! Absolutely eat dinner there every night. Buffet was okay - just choose wisely. We loved the burger place and the Mexican cantina!

Service and Staff

Everyone on this boat was incredible - from entertainment, to bartenders, to housekeeping. Definitely stop by the Millennium bar and get a pomtini from Keishia and stop by the Redfrog pub to chat with Kerch - he even had a Polaroid camera to take our group's photo! Also take time to talk to the amazing entertainment team - Malcolm, Michelle and Sabrina - they did a great job organizing everyone! Finally, our state room steward, Roderick, was so kind! He always asked if we needed anything and was so accommodating and left adorable towel animals in our room every day!

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
It was an older ship, but the state rooms were very clean and maintained. Only reason this rating is a little lower is the pools and hot tubs. A few of them seemed old and had chipping paint and seemed a little gross.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Way bigger than expected, and nice and clean. Plenty of storage so my friend I felt like we didn't have to live out of our suitcases all week, which was a huge plus!

thank you so much!!! I will be on the freedom in 102 days!!

Hopalong25    7 years ago

@smlyheather you will need a strap or bungee cord to keep it open, but the room is cooler than outside, but I heard don't open both doors at the same time, you will have a tornado in the room

can you leave the door open on a balcony room? just wondering how the balcony door works

We were on deck 10 2 weeks ago, room was not hot but we did bring a fan with us, for air movement, we had a balcony room

That was a great review! I do have a question, was it hot in the room and did you have a balcony room. I'm leaving June 24th and will be on the Spa deck. Just planning ahead!
