Review summary

my favorite part was the waterslide.

Breakfast buffet with a window seat was also nice.

The worst was so much and so loud amplified noise around the pool....the whole middle of deck 9.

It was bad enough that that deck 9 was always so noisy, but that noise (BOOM BOOM) at times carries all the way down and forward to my balcony...almost the front of deck 8!

Information about excursions was minimal....i wish I had waited until on board to decide excursions so I could get info from other travelers about best stuff to do.  Way too much time on other boats and buses, and it turns out there was no discount for booking early.

I wish I had paid more attention to what was available on the TV as far as boat activities.  I found out the last day that you show the dinner menu....so I could decide choices (dining room or buffet luck) before standing in line.  The phone app was pretty...expand on that.

More shore time would have been nice.  More info on the ports too

May is probably too HOT for this cruise.

not cabin 8438. 8202. Towel animals are pretty silly ... totally wasted on us. Sofa uncomfortable. odd high pitch whistle...not always, but often....when balcony door opened

Ship tip

It was great to have a balcony

as a person that has cruised five different times two of which on Carnival couple times on Royal Caribbean and once on NCL I have always done my research maybe that person needs to use a travel agent with cruise knowledge for future

There is definitely a learning curve to cruising. (And people don't always list their cruise(s).) Maybe they will have a better experience down the road.

The reviewer has no cruises listed in their history, and gave only 2 and 3 stars in reviewing the different ports... these were all ports that my wife and I really enjoyed, because we knew we would... doing your homework and knowing what to expect on the ship and in the ports... in my opinion, those are key elements in enjoying the week...

captain2593, we do as well (cruise when school is in session). I can't imagine being on a ship with a bunch of kids/teens. Ugh.

to avoid a lot of articles. It is always loud on the Lido deck. If you want quiet on Lido deck, Carnival,Royal Caribbean, and NCL are the wrong ships for you:-(

I always cruise when school is in session

yep the lido deck is the party deck so yea most of the time you will get the "party" theme....as far as the menus, we would pass by the restaurant after breakfast and check out the menu for dinner that night. you could have gotten all this info from this app. Also for your next cruise, spend a little time researching ports, restaurants, excursions. read reviews, ask questions. when ur better prepared the cruise goes so much more smoother.

Sometime you might check out cruising from November to February. Rates are super low, and the weather is absolutely perfect in the Caribbean. Warm, not hot; water temp is perfect too. Humidity isn't as bad either.
