Review summary

This was our 5th cruise but we travelled with 1st timer friends.  Our friend has Celiac Disease and was concerned about cross contamination.  Our dining room stewards took such great care of her, the gallery made her special gluten free dinners and brunches everyday.  Same menu items just made special for her.  The cafe lady remembered my name and special coffee order after only visiting twice.  She greeted me each morning by name and had my Caramel Latte ready when it was my turn to order.  The only negative on this trip was the ship's ventilation.  Most parts of the ship smelt like cigarettes.  It was almost impossible to breathe near the casino so we had to miss most of the trivia games.  Other than that our trip was so amazing, we've already booked our next one!

Cabin / Stateroom

Clean and comfortable. The room steward was kind enough to open the balcony gate to join ours with our friends. Double the space was so luxurious!

Ship tip

Use the new Carnival Hub app. It is much better than carrying the paper itinerary copies you get each day!

I agree - only negative part was the smoke on the casino level. It was hard to enjoy anything on Deck 5 because of it and it came down into the atrium lobby too. I'd like a smoke free cruise but I understand they have to try and accommodate everyone.

why can't engineers solve the casino smoke problem?
