Review summary

This was our second time on this cruise itinerary but our first time on Carnival Freedom. Cozumel is fun, but Progreso is a big blah. The Freedom is bigger than the Teiumph, but all three of us liked the Triumph a bit better. The dining room is much nicer and we preferred the decor on the Triumph. All in all, a nice cruise, but nothing spectacular.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The dining room has rectangle tables which is not as conducive to getting to know your table mates as round tables are. Also, has Carnival done away with lobster on the menu? We didn't have it and only saw it offered as an extra cost.

Gaudy patterns and colors in all the common areas!

Cabin / Stateroom

We had three people in our cabin me it was very comfortable. We had the two twin beds and the foldout sofa. The foldout sofa was very surprisingly comfortable. The room was plenty big enough for all three of us.
