The deck above spa deck is serenity. You’ll hear virtually no noise during the dark hours. During the day, you may hear a chair being repositioned but that would be rare. I’d take spa deck over most others due to no interior cabins and likely no children in the adjacent cabins. It’s pretty peaceful on the spa deck.

A few cruises ago I had a balcony cabin located under Serenity. Never again! They were loud and rambunctious even after supposed closing hours. Daytime was fine.

I doubt they heard the Serenity crowd. I have been in lower cove balconies, i.e. recessed, and could hear the 80s party on the top deck. Wasn't too bad but would think any floor above could also hear with each higher floor it getting a little louder. It really depends on how the wind and speed of the ship. Most don't complain.
