Overall great cruise for the value we paid. Itinerary was the best and I would definitely do this same ship and itinerary again if need. My wife and I do not let the little things ruin our vacation and we never asked for any compensation due to it.

No specialty dining on this ship. Buffet was about average what I normally expect from Carnival’s buffets. But the main dining room food was better than I have previously had.

Singers and dancers for main stage shows were horrible they could not sing or dance. Others that played nightly throughout the ship were pretty good singers and musicians all the way around. But only rated two stars because we go and love the main shows. Just a disappointment in this ship that’s all.
Children's Programs

Our daughter is 12 and is in circle c. One thing we noticed is that they are only open on port days from 5-7 and then 8-1am. We were used to all day when our daughter was considered camp carnival. She was very much looking forward to staying on the ship and doing fun things with her group.
Service and Staff

These people work there butts off. Always smiling and willing to do anything you need to make your vacation a memorable one. Our room steward Reginald was the best we have ever had on any cruise line. Catalina and Lucky from the alchemy bar were amazing and by far the best bar on any carnival ship.

Layout was not bad for it to be in the fantasy class the layout was the same but not as easy to navigate as let’s say the fantasy or the sensation but still easy enough. Design of the ship is old and out of date in my opinion but what do I know about design. The cleanliness of the ship was outstanding. It was clean from the moment we walked on till the moment we walked off. Yes the ship is old and shows it’s age in some regards but I was super super pleased with the condition upon arrival and my opinion never changed during the week. Great ship overall would sail on her again in a heartbeat.
Cabin / Stateroom

Room was clean no smells of any kind and was an ocean view room. We had several issues during the week 1st off the air did no t work. We called guest services immediately the called in someone to look at it and said it meets their standards. Ok maybe it does but it still was not working. So the brought us a fan. On day 2 we took our first shower and the heat from the bathroom set off the smoke detector. Called guest services they called the people to come shut it off and that person told us to make sure we had air on to help circulate the heat. Advised air not working they said use fan. Which was on when the came in. This happens for the next three nights around 5:30pm as we were getting ready for dinner since we had early dining. I called guest services each time and they sent someone up to check on it each time and they told us the same thing each time. So that is why I gave a low rating on the room even though the rep was great otherwise.
Ship tip
You are going on this ship because of the ports of call not because you are expecting the world on the ship. Yes the ship is nice but it is old and ready to be moving.
Nice port but the people there when u got off the ship trying to get u to take a taxi were a big pain in the Butt. Would not leave you alone no matter what u said and would walk and talk with u for up to a mile. We are not rude people but we had to be purple to I order for it to work.
