Review summary

Being our first cruise, we weren’t sure what to expect, but were just happy to go and have a great time. We loved the cruise overall, especially seeing so many different islands. Would have liked to have better food on the ship, and maybe a few better entertainment options. But overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and will be trying another cruise in the future!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We were disappointed in the food on this cruise. The main dining room was not good, and the buffet was just alright. The saving grace was the Blue Iguana Cantina- the tacos were delicious! 24 hour ice cream was really good, pizza was just ok. Overall we were really wishing for better food.

Onboard Activities

we didn’t use the pool, but we loved the Serenity Deck for relaxing in the evenings.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The comedians were funny; the stage shows were decent but not amazing.

Children's Programs

We didn’t take children

Ship Quality

Seemed clean enough, definitely a lot of staff working very hard to keep everything clean and running smoothly

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was actually a decent size. The bed was comfortable, the bedding was great, and we slept very well.

Ports of call

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Loved Old San Juan, which is an easy walk from the port.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

We took the ferry to St John and did some great snorkeling at Trunk Bay. Beautiful.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

4 out of 5
We rode 4 wheelers around the whole island. It is still recovering from the hurricanes, so it was much less green than the other islands, and not as pretty.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

Went to Cockleshell beach. Very pretty views and beautiful water.

Castries, St. Lucia

By far our favorite island. Gorgeous scenery, fun and friendly people, great snorkeling. We also did the sulfur mud baths and the waterfall.

Bridgetown, Barbados

Took a catamaran to snorkel with turtles and by a shipwreck.

Disembarkation

Very easy and quick
