Review summary

Overall we had a great time with our 3 teens on this cruise. Could there have been better areas, yes, but we love to cruise and will continue to do so.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
It went very well and smooth

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
They were awesome as always

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The ship was smaller so there was not as much pool space but the serenity area was great.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We did entertainment every night and the musical part of the ship was awesome. The comics were hit or miss but it was fun overall.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service was outstanding from all personnel involved.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship had a good layout and it was clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The room was good but the third pull out bed was in the way for the cruise because you had to go under it to get to the window side of the bed.

Ship tip

Ask about the position of the third bed if you have a third person in the room.

Ports of call

San Juan, Puerto Rico

We only flew in and out as part of our cruise and did not do an excursion.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

4 out of 5
We had an good time shopping in St. Thomas. We did not do an excursion.

Bridgetown, Barbados

They had a good port but the Snorkeling excursion we did was AWESOME!!! They took us to see a shipwreck with many fish and an area that had sea turtles, Manta Rays and many fish. I have been on a few snorkeling tours but this was the best by far.

Castries, St. Lucia

The port was good but the excursion we did was promoted as a volcano excursion, waterfall and mud bath. Well there was no volcano excursion, no waterfall and only the mud bath. This excursion ended up being a historical botanical walk and a mud bath with the bus tour. Even this was interesting it was not what was promoted and I would recommend this unless that is what you are looking for.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

5 out of 5
The port was good but we took an off ship excursion to the Shipwreck restaurant and bar. This was AWESOME as it was priced reasonable and the location had chairs and umbrellas for not charge. They had snorkeling and tubing for the teens which they loved and the location was outstanding. I would recommend this to anyone coming to St. Kitts

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

The port was good but the excursion we took was BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!! We ended up being on the island for Carnival, which was not communicated to us. We had a tour which was supposed to be the best of St. Maarten but due to the Carnival we ended up stuck in traffic for two hours, herded on the chair lift for a one minute view at the top and then sent back down to the bottom and then no shopping excursion and a 45 minute visit at the beach where we had to order and wolf down the food we ordered. All in all in was the worst excursion I have been on in six cruises.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
They did a good job of disembarkation but it always sad to leave as we love cruising.
