Great cruise! Pleasantly surprised at the on-ship experience as we had heard some negatives about Carnival being a party ship (which we we’re looking for). It wasn’t. Wonderful & attentive crew; comfortable and clean ship. Lovely ports with lots of options and, of course, beautiful beaches.

Fabulous meals at Sensation; great choices and variety. Attentive wait staff. Also loved the taco bar for a quick snack after the shore tours.

Enjoyed our down time in Serenity but it would have been nice if wasn’t so crowded and if the hot tubs there were open earlier and later.

Did the island tour we booked in town and then went the beach. Should have taken the local bus to the botanical gardens for 2$ but was advised they’re not reliable time wise so we didn’t. Should have! Would’ve saved us $$ & we would’ve been able to feed our interest in the local floral and fauna.
Best stop by far! Easy to book tours off the ship. Did the island tour with mud bath, mineral water, and waterfall. Gorgeous rainforest! Driver stopped at various places to get us samples of local food. Also spent time enjoying a beautiful botanical garden. Gorgeous rainforest; most beautiful island on this cruise. Wanted to find an option that took us to the mudbaths by land and back by water but couldn’t find this so we went by land both ways. Windy, beautiful drive! Booked the “4-hour” tour that turned into 7 hours.
Carnival provides a fantastic experience in my opinion. The Party Ship problems are mostly on the short weekend cruises and when overtaken by college spring breakers. Other than those times, it is enjoyable.
