Review summary

This was by far our best cruise itinerary yet. Enjoy literally every place we ventured to.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Got immediately on to ship. Zero waiting.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Great selections. Loved the Blue Iguana Mexican restaurant and Guys Burgers.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
One decent size pool. The two hot tubs on Lido were always crowded with around 12 people at all times. Weren’t able to use.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Watched several shows. We’re entertaining in the evening once our outside activities were over.

Children's Programs

Did not send our kids to camp ocean

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone always greeted us with a smile

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Liked layout. Would prefer two separate pool/hot tub areas like our previous ship. Made area feel much less crowded. Everything was clean always. Crews were maintaining the ship constantly throughout cruise. Saw painting, changing fixtures, repairs being done. They NEVER inconvenienced us however. Felt nice to know they kept up with maintenance.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cozy and comfortable. Four in our family. Two adults and two children. Liked the set up of this room with the location of the drop down bunks. Better layout than last ship we were on. Felt slightly bigger. Definitely NOT a big room but we are only in stateroom to sleep and shower.

Ship tip

If you HATE being around smoke like we do, do not choose a room anywhere close to the atrium opening. The smoke seeps a good bit down the halls. We like to choose rooms towards the rear of ship because of things like this.

Ports of call

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
Loved, loved San Juan. Very walkable and always felt safe no matter the time of day. Public transportation sucks there though. Uber is definitely the way to go. HAVE to take a taxi from airport however. Uber has agreement with taxi company to not pick up from there. They can, however, drop you off there.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
Picturesque. Did a kayak/hike/snorkel excursion here. Was active and saw many sights and creatures.

Bridgetown, Barbados

5 out of 5
Colorful port. Great people. Took catamaran tour with snorkel/swim/beach.

Castries, St. Lucia

5 out of 5
So beautiful. Did a land and sea combo trip here. Was a nice, long excursion. Saw Pitons, banana plantations, stopped at market for restroom break. Also had a beer. Visited botanical garden. Then onto a fantastic local lunch aboard catamaran with swimming and rum punch.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

5 out of 5
Kitts was one of our top spots. Didn’t book an excursion here. Talked to locals at port about good beach to swim and snorkel. Took taxi to South Friar beach and rented gear. Amazing lagoon there where we saw squid, turtles, pufferfish etc. Beach was awesome. Only cost us $100 us total for the day for family of 4.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
Looked like something out of the movies. Gorgeous. Visited Maho beach and watched planes land then swam at Mullet Bay. Probably our favorite catamaran voyage of our entire cruise. Crew was awesome.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Got off ship quickly. We sat outside on lido til final call for disembarkation and walked right off with our luggage.
