This was a quick trip due to being at a conference for a few more days upon our return. It was a fantastic surprise. It was 3 couples and we all totally enjoyed this trip. Although the boat was much older than I expected (not really but when they say they had been refurbished 2yrs ago I expected more). It was still a nice ship and easy to get around.
Embarkation

My husband requires wheelchair assistance to get on and off the ship. This is his 10th cruise and the best experience we have ever had
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

The main dining room and buffets were very good; however, I miss the specialty restaurants.
Onboard Activities

Pool activities were fun
Entertainment

The Motown show was a real disappointment. It wasn't true Detroit Motown at all. I'm from Chicago and very familiar with the real Motown sound. Unfortunately, many of the lead singers were the wrong person for the songs. This seems more like a Frankie Valley performance. However, The Diva's show was spectacular - music was great, performances were great. Can't say enough about that show. There was a comedy show with an Irish performer - he was boring as heck.
Children's Programs
no children
Service and Staff

I thought the staff was very good - had no issue here
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
For a small ship, I was surprised at how nicely it was laid out and kept up.
Cabin / Stateroom

Well, it was very small compared to other Carnival ships - we had a handicap room and the bathroom was ridiculous. My husband is a larger man with many challenges and it was a challenge to get dress every day. That was the worst part of the cruise for us
Ship tip
If your room is close to the atrium it can get very loud when they have a party. Which they had several but because I was at the party it didn't bother me
Very disappointed in this port. Got a nasty taxi driver who tried to take us for a tour we didn't ask for and then tried to charge us. Not a good experience - but more than that there was nothing to do there
Really enjoyed my time here - went on a safari/snorkeling excursion where I had to get off the boat in the water to walk to the beach. NOt exactly what I planned considering I don't swim, but it was fun.
Unfortunately, this was my least favorite port. If you are familiar with Chicago - I felt like I was back on the old Maxwell Street - nothing to see here
Love this island - did a city tour that was incredible. Another one of my favorite tours - I had been to St Kitt's before but never seen it as we did. Took a great excursion it was a highlight tour and the tour guide was excellent
Another great island, unfortunately, my tour got rescheduled to 8:30 am. Who goes on an 8:30 am tour - so that was a bummer. But we did things on our own and we really enjoyed our time here.
Unfortunately because my husband drove his scooter off the ship - which is what he was told to do. There was no handicap service available - we had to go back to Carnival to get someone. However the transportation representative actually ran and got someone for us which really helped a lot.
