For a first cruise, we were treated exceptionally well. We are looking at booking the next one already.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We were in the Owner's suite, so we were given VIP treatment with a personal guide from the taxi all the way to our room.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Main dining room was gor the most part very good. We did have an issue with a steakhouse order, but when we talked to the Maitre'D it was taken care of.
Our last dinner we asked if we could have a table for 10 and they accommodated us without a problem. The Maitre'd also opened our bottle of champagne and poured it for us. We even brought wine that was bought and we were allowed to drink at the table.
Guy's burger bar was great!
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
About the only thing we did was the spa, a great experience although they upsell their products a little too much.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
All we did was listen to the DJ on the Lido deck and it was good. No real rating to give here.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our steward, Nengha, was the best. Was always available and very eager to help and assist.
Bojan, Luby, and Ceasar at the Alchemy bar were great. Had a great martini making class and learned a lot. Also, they would surprise us with different drinks.
Melissa at the Sensation dining room was always able to accommodate our requests and was always willing to help.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Most of the areas were clean and the staff was always busy. I think the ship is showing its age, a lot of rust in areas, could use some paint. The other passengers could clean up their mess, instead expecting the crew to do it all.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
No complaints at all about the cabin. We had a separate living area, dining area, and bedroom. The master bath had a separate shower and jacuzzi tub, with a huge walk in closet.
We decided to go out on our own here. We went to the Boatyard, for $25/person, you get a beach chair, umbrella for 2 pple, snorkel, and a free drink. We had a blast, just stay off the ropes that are in the water!
We did the 10 best of St. Lucia with Felixia, tour guide, and Stephen, our driver. We stopped at 10 different places on the island and many photo opportunities.
Felixia was the best, gave a lot of information and kept the ride enjoyable. Some of our other passengers thought the ride became a little political and they became a little weary of it.
We did the catamaran to Nevis beach with snorkeling and swimming. The entire excursion was fantastic.
The only drawback was the rum punch that was flowing. One passenger had way too much and had to be carried back to the ship. The crew on the catamaran needed to help and take responsibility for it.
Went to Marigot beach with friends to see the planes take off and land. What an experience. Also the beaches were the bluest and the sand was the whitest we had seen.
