We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise and loved the ports.
Embarkation

It went nice and smooth. Our luggage was delivered to our room quickly. We got on the ship early and enjoyed our time aboard with the lighter crowd.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Guys Burgers were the best! I loved our wait staff in the Imagination dining room. They made dinner so enjoyable and refreshing. They worked so hard and always had a smile and kind words.
The food selection was good...my only negative was that the food wasn’t served as warm as I would like.
Onboard Activities

Entertainment

Some evenings there just wasn’t a show that I was interested in.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The waiters and room stewards were the best. They did an amazing job!
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
It is one of Carnival’s older and smaller ships so I knew what to expect. It is kept clean and in good shape...just a little dated.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had plenty of room in the suite and enjoyed having a small refrigerator. My only disappointment was that I thought our tub was jetted based on some other reviews, but it wasn’t. It was still enjoyable having a deep tub to relax in.
Ship tip
One downside was the internet package. I read the reviews ahead of time that it can be slow...but I wasn’t expecting it to be as slow as it was. We didn’t purchase it to stay up with social media...just to receive an important email that we were expecting and had to answer while away. But with that being said...on some days I had to wait almost all day for some of the emails to load.
We arrived a day early and stayed a day after to enjoy Puerto Rico. We loved visiting the two forts in Old San Juan! We were also able to drive to the Aricebo Observatory and the rain forest.
We did our own around the island tour through the taxis located near the port. Our guide was great and informative. We had wonderful stops at a beach, a beautiful overlook, and the oldest church on the island.
The island is beautiful. We did the kayaking to Pigeon’s Island (highly recommend) and then some shopping at the Castries market. Make sure you visit the market and help the locals.
We did our own taxi tour around the island. Make sure you stop at a French bakery for some delicious pastries. We also had a nice walk to the beach from the ship.
The island is still recovering from Hurricane Irma.
