Review summary

I would not recommend this cruise. If anything I would suggest to try another cruise line. Carnival has lost its standards that they once had in place. I felt like all they wanted to do was squeeze you for every time they could get out of you. Picture cost way too much and late night fees for food. Just Ridiculous. Try another cruise line.

After cruising with Carnival for so many years I have to say this was the worse cruise ever!! I am disappointed and shocked at how this cruise line has let it's standards go so low. The food was never hot. The portions were ridiculous and the presentation was not at all impressive. Just terrible.

Ok had a great time and as for the ship it was fine...loved the ports for which is why we booked this cruise..now I will admit I didn’t think this was the most entertaining ship I’ve been on, I was glad I had no kids for I felt they would’ve been pretty bored in the evening! Would I book again on this ship..yes if it offered 6 ports again other then that no. Food same as the other ships I’ve been on and I didn’t think Glory charged for late night room service but this one does...no I didn’t order but seen the menu...guys burger of course was amazing as usual!!!! You make it how you want and we had fun not there to party but there for the beaches!!!!

Billijean, I highly recommend not letting other people’s comments influence your feelings towards a cruise. My wife and I have loved every cruise we’ve been on, yet return to read where others bad mouth them for small details. Some people only look for the negative and for things to criticize. No cruise has been perfect, but we deal with things, move on, and embrace the big picture, which is, we are on a cruise....

We were on the Fascination last Aug. The food was just ok, but our wait staff was incredible and friendly. Loved them. We also met a very nice bar tender who was so pleasant. Our room steward was subpar. But considering how many ports and how beautiful they were, we were off the ship quite a lot, so we didn't let the negatives bother us too much. There was one major mistake where I had booked the Chef's Table for our wedding anniversary. I had the email confirmation and everything. I never got the note in my room telling us what night it would be for us. I went to Guest Services and they said don't worry, you'll get a notice in your room. Finally, I went back to them to tell them it never came and they said, "Sorry, all of the Chef's Tables are over for this sailing." I was so upset I was crying. We had no anniversary dinner (which was gonna be a surprise for my husband). All they could say was they weren't sure hownwe got missed and they brought us a poor quality "anniversary cake" in the main dining room to apologize (which we did not eat)

As with anything it’s what the individual makes of it. I’m sure there was something good to come out of this cruise. The ship is just the vessel to get you to your destinations. What were your pros and cons of the port destinations you visited?

I hate Carnaval Fascination so much(pure sarcasm😄) that I was in this cruise on april 2018 and im coming back again on april 2020!

Plz just enjoy it it's what u make out of it I been 9 cruises 5 carnival 3 Tims royal Caribbean 1 ncl and all 3 I had a blast and once again I am going to Europe for 10th cruise.
