Review summary

The ship had everything we could have asked for, however we had a few unpleasant interactions with the staff. Overall the general staff were happy and eager to help, however when it came to managerial interactions (in which we had two) they were rude, disrespectful, and made the problem worse. On a vacation such as this, we had hoped to not have any negative experiences... or at least none that would go uncorrected. I have never complained or sought out managers on any other vacation I have been on and on the ship I did twice. We couldn't get a drink for two hours due to a "VIP event that was using all bar staff" (we were unaware that we weren't "VIP" enough to have a bartender at points throughout our cruise). Minus the managers making small problems big problems, the trip was definitely one to remember--from efforts on our own terms.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin we had was on the bottom floor, which received a lot of shakiness due to the waves and location of the room. The size was small, however we didn't spend much time in the room so it was everything we needed. Conversely we did wake up in the middle of the night from the boat shaking, as we were unlucky enough to be traveling in a storm, which caused some sickness.

Ship tip

Do the catamaran and snorkel excursion in Nassau, you won't regret it!

Ports of call

Jacksonville, Florida

It's chillier in upper Florida than expected!

Nassau, Bahamas

We did the catamaran and snorkel excursion and it was AMAZING! (One of the cheaper options too, but made the trip unforgettable).

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

Nothing to really do, all of the beaches required paid transportation to and from and most beaches had a fee just to get on them. You needed to pay for a chair to sit on the beach and the only "entertainment" on the beach included one bar and overpriced jetski rentals
