Review summary

We booked what was suppose to be a Birthday celebration for my daughter, we got nothing, there were other doors that were decorated with Happy Birthday signs, balloons, we had nothing, I also was expecting to have the staff sing happy birthday to her on the first night as I was told by Karen that didn't happen either, I had to go to the fun shop and order her a cake and then ask the staff if they would please sing for her because they were not notified that it was her birthday.

I also had issues with the teen club the girls were suppose to be together however the only way that could be is if my 15 year old went to the younger club.

It was a bit small for 4 people to be in, and it didn't look like the picture we saw on the web site.

Ship tip

felt like we could have been treated a little bit better. the pool staff and the casino staff were about the only ones that treated us like we even existed. I expected a little more from Carnival and ended up disappointed over all. our excursions were good just wish they were a little longer.

They do not decorate your doors or anything..you have to do that yourself. All of the doors you see decorated is done by the people in that room. You can order a celebration package for your room before you go on their website. It comes with streamers and a cake or cookies delivered to your room. There is an extra charge for this though.

we just got back, it was our mother daughter bday cruise. my hubby ordered the bday pkg, decorated room and door. my travel agent made sure they knew was birthday. first night they sang and got a cake. there were about 10 others as well with birthdays.

yeah they didn't do anything for my birthday either and my husband was very upset! He even told our waiter at dinner to sing to me and he didn't either. And my hubby paid the extra for all of this.

We have had many of anniversary,birthday celebration on there and have always got a cake and then they sing to us. We also have a teenage daughter and a friend that travels with her that's a year younger and they have always made exception and let the younger one go with the older one.
