Review summary
Our 1st cruise ever, thought it was going to be awesome, but.... Almost all of the ships activities/specials are alcohol related ( we dont drink). One store on the ship and its only a jewelry store. Staff was amazing and friendly though. Booked 2 shore excursion for my hubby and I one was a stingray "swim". All we did was stand in ankle deep water and feed the stingrays..no swimming as pictured and explained on the excursion deal. 2nd excursion was a Reef snorkel, shopping, and beach day. Well, after you wait for 5 buses to take the people whom purchased the all inclusive ( alcohol and food) you get to take another boat to the reef, only swim for 30 min, then back on the boat for 20-30 to get back to shore, ordered our food...waited an hour. Finally ate as fast as we could to go stand back in line to get on another bus to take us back to the ship. So basically I bought an excursion to snorkel with no beach time and no shopping time...waste of money. The only highlight to the cruise was being able to lay out on the ship and get a tan which I could have done at home because there was nothing for us to do. My 1st cruise, 1st impression, and my birthday was one I will never forget and probably never do again. Lesson learnedÂ
