Review summary

There wasn't really very much to do aboard ship.  Casino slot machines are very outdated.  24 hour pizza restaurant was always a long line.  When we first arrived, we were told we couldn't go to our room yet and were never told we could.  Most people seemed to already be settling into their rooms by the time we finally gave up and went upstairs to our room.  Also, when we arrived back in Jacksonville, we were told not to wait in lobbies or stairwells.  We waited in The Palace auditorium for our zone number to be called.  It was never called.  We gave up and decided to just leave.  Apparently most people had left by that time.  I guess it doesn't pay to follow the rules on a Carnival Cruise.  Excursions were also very chaotic.  Should have been more organized on where to go for each excursion in both Freeport and Nassau.  Very frustrating.  Out in the hot sun while all this mayhem was going on, too.  This was our first cruise, and we were told by another couple who had taken many cruises to not judge all cruises by this one.  I don't think we'll cruise again, however.
