The cruise was okay at best. Leaving the ship was way too disorganized and totally too much stress. Probably won't ever leave out of Mobile again even though we have in the past and never had this kind of problem.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Rapid lines, friendly staff.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Guy's burgers are excellent! Dining room food was good but not really great. On a formal dining night they allowed a man to eat in the dining room with sleep pants and fuzzy house shoes on. Buffet's were iffy at best.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
They need way more activities like games not only for children but adults as well. And a better selection.
Entertainment

Service and Staff
3 out of 5
House keeping were wonderful, dining staff friendly but some people did not get the idea that you sailing with them was an option. They were brisk to the point of rudeness.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Some areas very nice others no so much. Somewhat outdated.
Cabin / Stateroom
2 out of 5
Bathroom sink had about a 4 inch crack in it. Frequently dripped. Seldom could see out the oceanview window because it was not clean. 1 straight backed chair in a room for 2 people. No sofa. I have been in inside cabins with as much room.
I understand that fog rolled in and the port closed. I totally get that but we were due in at 7:30 but did not arrive until almost 11. No one worried about if we missed connections or transfers etc. it was just oh well. My husband is a 100% disabled veteran who served 27 years in the military and couldn't even get a chair to sit in to wait for assistance.
This is the oldest ship in the fleet, so I wouldn’t judge Carnival based on this cruise. Fog is fairly common in many of the Gulf Coast ports in the winter, so it’s a good idea to book a late afternoon flight. Hopefully you had a good travel insurance policy that compensated you for any charges and fees for flight changes.
