I would repeat this cruise. Enjoyed the food (don't miss the sea day brunch) and the shows. A great value!

Food was excellent -- Except for one example of over the top cheapness: Orange Juice has been replaced with something called "Orange Cocktail" whatever that is?

The Casino was disappointing -- Carnival is maximizing the house advantage like I've never seen before. For example roulette wheel has 3 Zeros. The pay tables for other games I play in Mississippi or Las Vegas showed the same rip-off approach -- for example games that normally pay 15 times the bet were only paying 10 times on the ship. Because I noticed this I didn't play in the Casino which probably saved me a lot of money -- so it was not a problem to me.

The design was great -- because the ship is old there are still very nice outdoor deck areas.
Why Carnival can't correct the elevator issues -- I don't understand. I've been on the Fantasy 4 times over the past 4 or 5 years and there are always elevator issues.

The size is good -- this is an old ship and you get to cruise at bargain price -- so the rooms show some age and wear -- as you should expect.
Ship tip
The ship might be old but the staff and the dancers are young and fun -- focus on the good stuff - there is lots of good stuff about the fantasy.
