Food on this ship has gone downhill over the last past two years. This was our 6th trip on this ship and you can tell a major negative change. Food was not good and in one case I was served a course that was frozen. Appeared that they forgot to warm it. Must have come right out of the freezer to the table.
Onboard Activities

As a Platinum traveler we have seen all the activities on a Carnival. Ice carving, hairy chest contest, and Dr. Seuss activities. Nothing special on this cruise.

New Years Eve was great. This ship has this activity down. The stage shows are the same shows that have been playing for years. Just change the faces singing, but the songs and story line are the same. The house band was very good. The other performers were just so so. The piano bar was ok, but seemed like the player was more interested in talking than playing and sing along.

Service on this ship is so bad I do not know words to explain it. Most people eat two meals a day on the Lido deck. Dirty dishes were all over the place. So many dishes that people did not have a place to sit outside. Dirty dishes would sit for hours and I do mean hours. If you wanted to sit you had to remove the dirty dishes from your table. Even doing that the tables were never wiped down. How do you spell ship borne sickness. The same thing goes for bar glasses. Sometimes it took 6 hours to get dirty glasses picked up. With over 1000 guest on deck on sea days they only had two bar servers to take drink orders. I had to go to the bar if I wanted a drink. I reported all of this, but it appears they do not care.

I have been on this ship on 5 trips.. I have always had a good time even though the shows where the same every time.. the crew staff has always been very nice... I do agree that the dining food is just ok.. but there are other venues to get food... I love going to the dining room though...
I tend to disregard reviews like this, as there are many cruisers who loved this ship, staff, and all. We have a Journeys Cruise (10 day) booked on the Fantasy and look forward to it. (I’m confident that the OP’s attitudes and ours are not the same).
