Overall the cruise was great, smooth seas and easy sailing. I really had a great time.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
The Mobile port ran extremely well. The staff was friendly and everything moved quickly. We checked in early and got to get on the boat and relax and start our vacation off right. The porters were at the line headed into the parking garage and they got our bags out quickly and we were on our way to park.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The main dining room was good. My meal of the honey glazed pork was very good. However the others in our party found their meal to be lacking in flavor. We did the buffet other nights and it was good along with the pizza place and deli.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The pool was great. Our first sea day was a beautiful warm day and it made hanging out by the pool and enjoying the pool great. I particularly enjoyed the hairy chest contest. It was an absolute blast.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We went to the Cats Lounge most nights for karaoke and that was a lot of fun. The last night we enjoyed the comedy show. The lady performer was so funny.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Again the staff was wonderful. Everyone always had a smile on their face and a few even let us ask about life as a cruise employee.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
This ship was easy to navigate and each area was very clean. It is an older ship so a few things were outdated and the was a vibration to the ship that was a little annoying. I'm our way in one of the motors went out and a tug boat had to pull us in. So I'm not sure if that was the cause of the vibration or not.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The cabin was plenty big enough for us and I don't have anything bad to say about it. It's a little weird not having natural light, so 2pm feels like 2am when all the lights are off.
Ship tip
Deck 9 and 10 is where all the action is and both decks were easy to navigate. They both go all the way through the ship.
We had a blast in Cozumel! We didn't book an excursion and just went out on our own. We grabbed a taxi to take us downtown, the grabbed another taxi to get to Tequila Beach. (Recommend by first cab driver). We absolutely had a blast at Tequila Beach. It wasn't crowded and we only had to pay $10 a head to get in. With that 10 dollars we got a free voucher for $10 worth of food or drink. The water was crystal clear and felt great!
We were late getting into port due to engine failure so it was kinda nice to have a little more time to gather together and make a game plan for the ride home. There was a good wait in line to leave the boat and get through customs, but overall it went smooth.
