Review summary

Ear splitting loud announcements several times a day going over what is already printed out and delivered to your room each day. Unacceptable to me. Good food, great service, nice trip.

very nice, kept very clean. Be sure to specify about obstructed views, ours was not but the life boats looked as if they did some.

Ship tip

Bring your ear plugs and Pepto bismol. You have to pay for the bathroom at the bus station in Progresso (6 pesos if I remember correctly). A woman gives you an allotment of toilet paper.

The bus to Progresso is free, then pick up the bus to Merida. The architecture and main square are beautiful, the people are friendly, and the prices are great. $10 for filet mignon at the restaurant across from the square.

Don't pay for the Chanaakanab all inclusive food and drink, not worth the money in my opinion. The porpoises are kept in cages near the beach.
