We learned, while on our way to the port, that our itinerary had been changed and we were no longer visiting either of the ports we were scheduled to visit.  Instead our boat, which was not functioning properly, was going to take us to the Bahamas.  We scheduled this trip as a Christmas gift for our kids, who had already been to the Bahamas.  This specific route was chosen on purpose because of that.  To top it off, Carnival comped us just $50/person which was applied to our onboard spending account... a complete slap in the face!  Their staff when boarding the ship, 4 hours late, were rude and offered no dinner or drinks.

It's probably beautiful, we wouldn't know. But thanks for asking
