Review summary

Carnival's private island Half Moon Cay was just beautiful.  The sand was white, the water was crystal clear with ripples not waves.  Such a pristine beach.  Oh and plenty of beach chairs available.

Grand Turk was nice as well however the waters edge was like stepping off a bank with crushed coral that you sunk in almost up to your knees.  Feel sure this  was due to hurricane that had hit ten days prior to cruise.  We took the private inclusive beach excursion.  This is well worth the money.  All drinks and food, beach chairs and umbrellas included.  The food was outstanding!  The bar tender was full of personality.  Snorkel equipment included.

Ship tip

When you leave the ship, take advantage of the Porters. They are worth a $10 or $20 tip.
