Review summary

We sailed on the Fantasy for our 10th Anniversary. I knew it was one of the older ships, so I was not too surprised when the outside looked a little worn. I was surprised when I got inside. The interior was beautifully decorated and looked new. We opted for an Outer Stateroom and were rewarded with an incredible view. The food was almost the best part (being alone with my Husband was the best...). Regardless of whether you ate in the Dining Room or on the Lido deck at the buffet or ordered room service, it was all exceptional. Our Server's in the Dining Room remembered our preferences and were extrememly friendly and entertaining. Our Stateroom was cleaned/straightened several times a day which is above and beyond, I believe. The public areas were beautiful and comfortable. The clubs were comparable to any I have been to at home. Finally, THE STAFF!! I had read some reviews that were negative about the pre-paid gratuities and service being not worth it. Well, all I can say is they must have been on a different ship. Every person we met was so friendly and went out of their way to meet all our needs. Every waiter, customer service person, hopitality person, EVERYONE was AWESOME!! We definitely will be back!

Food and Dining

There are no words to express how good the food was or how available it was. You get as much or more than you can eat when you want it. I especially loved the 24 hour Pizzeria and Ice Cream.

Entertainment

Very little to do for a person who prefers or by necessity, has to stay out of the sun. If you did not bring a pocket load of money for gambling or shopping, you are out of luck. Although there was a library with board games, I was disappointed since I could read or play games at home.

Service and Staff

I have never received such attention or seen such friendliness. I felt like I was on a private yacht with my on personal staff. They were that attentive and friendly.

Ship Quality

Outside of ship looks a little worn and shabby, but interior is wonderful. It was very clean, smelt good and was very comfortable.

Cabin / Stateroom

It was a beautiful room, well appointed. More roomy than I expected. It had every convenience and we slept like babies.

Very fun and friendly port. Not to commercial or built up. We liked the shops although some of the locals were a little pushy about buying. We loved the beach and the pool.
