Review summary

I had a great time & loved the friendliness of the staff. The Elation ship is very old & is small. Needs to be retired & replaced with a bigger ship with more onboard activity options with a larger pool/more pools, more water slides, rides, etc. This is a small ship with limited options.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
Poorly organized at the Port. Extremely Long wait times in the heat outside!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Good service despite being short staffed!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Great activities, concerts, games, etc. The pool is EXTREMELY too small. Only one small water slide. no rock climbing walls, etc. This is an older ship & needs to be retired.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
LOVED the concerts! The cruise director was a huge favorite and made things fun

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was VERY VERY personable and pleasant. Always going out of their way to say hello & be of assistance.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
While the ship was clean and well maintained, it is an obviously older ship. Very small compared to other cruise ships and not as many options. Needs to be retired.

Thanks for the review, and glad you enjoyed your cruise for the most part. Unfortunately there are some ports (Jacksonville included) that don’t have the bridge clearance to accommodate larger ships. Carnival has to keep some older smaller ones in the fleet which means less stuff on board, or risk losing a cruise port.
