My only complaint was the day we got off the boat in Freeport at 8:00 and they didn’t open the buffet until 7:00. We read the Funtimes paper and it said 6:00. We would have slept a little later.

We rented a Jeep from a third party for $141. We drove to Lucaya National Park, it’s admission was $5. We walked to the caves and crossed the road to walk to the beach. It was really a nice place. There was so much nature to see and the walk wasn’t hard. The beach was beautiful, it is the location of the filming of Pirates of the Caribbean. We then went to the Botanical Garden it’s admission was $17 a person again another beautiful place. We stopped at the straw market and then just drove around, it was amazing to see how much work they still have to do after the hurricanes. This was our favorite stop, we loved getting out to see more than just beaches.

We didn’t do an excursion here. I printed a map of what we wanted to see and walked around. We went to the Queens Staircase and the fort which was pretty neat. We then went to Senor Frogs had a drink then walked to Junkanoo Beach. We ended the day walking through the Straw Market. We had a really good time and I think it worked best doing the research and having a map of what we wanted to do.
