Review summary

So, i'm comparing this trip to the Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Sea (OAS) has 6500, Elation holds 2000+, one small pool, nothing good for kids to do, one small water slide...for the collage kids who want to drink, ok, for a family.....go Royal Caribbean and pay the extra $200 per person...it will be worth it!!!!!

Ship tip

Pick a bigger boat, only 1 small pool, not many activities for kids.

I will NEVER port out of Jacksonville again, they do not have it together on the Disembarkation.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

You have to take a small boat to the Island, and it takes forever!!!

That’s comparing apples and zebras. Not really a valid comparison.

It's fair to say a much larger, decade newer, and more expensive ship should have more options to keep kids happy. The Elation is not bad it's just a different type ship. Best to just do research and if your kids won't be happy with a pool and "one small water slide" which is actually a 300 foot enclosed twisting slide, two 82 foot racing slides, and a splash pad, then the Elation is not for your kids. My kids would be happy with either ship so cost and destination is what I would base my decision on.
