Review summary

Overall we enjoyed the cruise and had a great time. The upgrades to the ship were really nice, and the crew and staff were above and beyond great, going out of their way to be super nice and courteous and assuring our every need was addressed. As stated above the only real negative is the fact that the lobster shack was not operating the day we were on Half Moon Cay and everyone in our party was really looking forward to enjoying lobster on the beach. I think we should have been informed about this before we had to find out the hard way. Would still recommend the cruise as we had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful Caribbean sun and scenery, and of course the food.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

The island and beach is beautiful, but I think the BBQ buffet could be improved with better quality burgers (tasted like frozen supermarket burgers). Also very disappointed in the fact that the lobster shack was not open for business. This was one of the bucket list items we were looking forward to (especially the children) but it was not in operation and no one cared to give an explanation or even let us know in advance.

Half Moon Cay is owned by Holland America. My understanding is that they maintain the Lobster Shack and it is only open when Holland America ships are there.šŸ˜ŽšŸ‡ØšŸ‡±
