Review summary

The disembarking process needs to be improved. 2.5 hours to get off the ship. I scheduled my flight out 4hrs to allow time to catch flight. Disembarking took too long, then you're in a longer line oustiside. Thankfully one of the staff members took me to customs and I didn't miss my flight

You can never predict how long it takes to disembark and it has little to do with the cruise Line’s process. It is usually due to one or more non-US citizens have failed to present themselves for immigration. 4 hours is plenty sometimes but not always.

You aren't a first time cruiser, you should have known better. There's no guarantee when you deal with customs. It's up to you to plan smarter than that, it's not carnivals fault. Sorry. Hope you had a great cruise.

You can go to guest services the night before and show them proof of early flight and and they will let you diesmbark first. Cd Kevin talks about it in his debarkation talk
