Review summary

I went with my boyfriend, and this was our first cruise. We will definitely be taking a cruise again with Carnival! The staff is incredible, the food is outstanding, and the ports we visited were so fun. I highly recommend taking a cruise on the Carnival Elation!

Some of the lines were a little confusing and not perfectly clear, but we were in line for only an hour and a half. Not bad compared to the airport!

Y'ALL - the food is AMAZING! You will never be hungry on this ship. I've only been home for 5 days, and I'm already craving some of the stuff we ate on the ship!

Great shows! Definitely go to the Comedy Club shows if you aren't easily offended and like raunchy jokes. The musical performances are also outstanding. They have something planned for you every night!

Ship tip

Definitely bring some motion sickness medicine. I took MotionEaze oil and put it behind by ears each day and felt much better. Since it is kind of a smaller ship, you feel the rock of the boat a lot more.
