This was a great cruise for my wife and I we enjoyed the food, activities, and ports of call. We went with another couple who had cruised before and they enjoyed it as well. the wait staff at dinner were all awesome and antentive. the bar staff were slow.
Carnival Elation Cruise Review to Caribbean - Bahamas
I would recommend this to others it was a good short cruise and the ports of call were good. you do feel this ship rolling with the sea which I liked.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining

the food in the lido area was great the staff was also great and they kept it clean. the Staff in the dinner area was awesome and attentive. the Bar staff at the various bars were slow, stoned faced and almost seem put out that we were there.
Imagination Dining Room
5 out of 5
Awesome the food was great I got to try new things. (if you get the chance try the braised rabbit and the lamb).
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
the pool and hot tubs were good the serenity area could use a pool.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The piano bar and the comedians were great. the solo acoustic act was good. some of the other bands were a little lack luster. the Hasbro game show was good. the epic rock show is what gets this low of a grade it was corny at best.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
room steward was attentive and saw to our needs. waiters were good. cruise director Kevin was on the ball, and emme was awesome. the bar staff seemed put out with the guests.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Cleanliness was spot on everywhere on the ship. One could tell that this is an older ship but she has been maintained very well. the layout was easy to figure out.
Cabin / Stateroom

it was always clean, Towels are soft. water pressure was amazing and you could have it as hot as you wanted. It is a balcony what can you say sitting in private listening to the sound of the ocean.
Freeport was good. the port is away from any of the excursions so you are on a bus for an hour of your day. We did the beach excursion and after a few rum drinks we made the best of it. the beach was rocky for about 20ft out into the water. bar was slow, and they ran out of conch fritters on the buffet.
The amount of taxies and tour guides was overwhelming they were barking at you to try and go with this one or that one. we ended up going to cabbage beach on paradise island and that was one of the most beautiful places I've been to. clearest water I've ever seen.
went fairly fast. they could have been more up front with the fog delay that they were 90% sure would cause a delay in docking. needed to catch a flight. we were supposed to dock at 0800 but docked at 1330.
