Overall the cruise was decent. However my middle child witnessed a death. It was very disturbing and we were never offered any condolences or emotional support at all. Basically they swept it under the rug. We called after the cruise and were only offered three visits to a counselor. It would have been much nicer to acknowledge that he saw it and offer him condolences at that time. As for the fact, maybe they didn’t know?! Yes they knew because he ran to get help and the cruise director.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation was easy and good. Parked immediately upon arriving and boarded the ship soon after. The lines moved quickly and smoothly.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food was amazing! We got the cheers cards for ourselves and the bubbles cards for our children. We loved our waitstaff in the elegant dining.
Inspiration Dining Room

Our waitstaff were awesome! They made sure we had everything we needed. They even cut up my daughter’s pork chop one night so she didn’t have to. They entertained while serving us. Truly enjoyed the experience.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The water works was not open the whole time due to the wind, but while it was open my 9 year old really enjoyed it. The pool was my daughters favorite activity but it was disappointing it wasn’t heated. The hot tubs were wonderfully warm however.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The music by the DJ’s was enjoyable. The comedian was really funny. The divas show was a little boring and hard to see ( we sat to the side of the stage and the did a lot of dancing in the back near the curtain, so it was blocked by the outer curtains). Plus a lot of the shows coincided with formal dinner so we missed them.
Children's Programs
Daughter chose not to go.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Waiters: amazing! Room stewards: amazing! He made an impression on my little one by stacking her multiple stuffed animals and covering them with her blanket. She loved that he took time for her toys.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
It was clean to begin with and then they were constantly cleaning.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
I’m giving it a 4 because they were clothes left from the previous cruisers. Other than that it was clean and nice. Comfortably slept all five of us.
Ship tip
If you enjoy adult beverages then get the drink card. It’s worth it!
Really disappointing. I hate being bombarded by all the people trying to sell you things as soon as you get off the ship. Also trying to get away from the port is ridiculous. They were charging exorbitant prices for taxis per person. I really wish I had known to get an excursion. I really wanted to just see the beach but it was too far and too expensive to get there.
Better port than Freeport. Much easier to walk to beach. Still get massively bombarded to purchase things. Even on the beach you get constantly asked to buy things. Then in the big market one person says by from me this little stack is mine. So you say how about this item, no that’s not mine but buy this. Really annoying and way overpriced.
Please talk to me about the Cheers package. I CAN NOT decide. It will cost an extra $700 for myself & husband to get it. Neither of us are heavy drinkers but we are definitely social drinkers. This is our first cruise and initially I wanted to save the money (that's a lot for us) and be conservative by sticking to tap water and lemonade and whatever else is free. Probably would get one or two alcoholic drinks per day but that would still be cheaper. But then I think how fun it would be to lay by the pool and sip cocktails and my husband get a few beers. Maybe smoothies later and some good coffee with breakfast. But none of those are needs, just extras. We'll also have our two teens with us so we don't plan to get drunk. Plus I heard the drinks are weak...but then someone else suggested just ordering a shot after you get a frozen drink and pouring it in. That's not really an option if I don't have the package. I can't decide!
