as for our time we did have a good time. we spent Tuesday night in the Blue Iguana and our bartender, Ordalis was AWESOME, so much fun and it was my daughter in laws birthday, he knew how to entertain and serve.
Embarkation

well, we were delayed in Jax Airport for 8 hours before we could go to the port. Had to spend additional money for food. after we got to the port the rest of the process actually went pretty smoothly with everyone having to board at the same time now.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Main dining room we went to only 2 nights. the first night our server and her crew were fabulous. the 2nd night our server never introduced himself or his crew to us and as I was trying to order he kept looking around the dining room like there was something better he wanted to do, I even asked him if he was too preoccupied to take my order. the buffet food was good overall, but the soft serve ice cream FROYO machines didn't work for the first 3 days on the cruise, there was almost never any iced tea and I don't drink the juices. the head guy was very rude to us one night when we were trying to ask about something and one of the bus people was the same way to the point as we were still talking to her she turned and walked away from us, one of the girls in our party at that point followed her to make sure she knew what she had done was rude.
Onboard Activities

we went to an 80's song event with the cruise director, Kevin, who was awesome by the way. that event was a blast. went to Art seminar and enjoyed that as well and the Art Auction next day, which was very interesting and enjoyable...thank you champagne.

Service and Staff

I believe I already answered the waiters. our room steward, Ricki, was great. He was very eager to make sure all of our issues were addressed and fixed and wanted to make sure we had things we wanted, i.e. ice, water, extra towels, etc. Most of the actual ship personnel were fabulous. we had no A/C in our cabin for 2 days and the refrigerator never worked; reported this to Guest Services and the girl there, I believe her name was Guilia and was from a country of Russia named started with a "B" actually sent our cabin some chocolate covered strawberries the next day with an apology for the inconvenience. that was awesome of her. When we got back on the ship after a day in Nassau, all i wanted was a pedicure. there were 2 ladies at the gangway from the SPA, I told them what I wanted and the one lady, Ann Marie said she could do just a pedicure, gave me a price and told me she could do this In 45 minutes and to meet her in the SPA then. When I got there I was told that she was already doing someone else and that I would have to wait until 6:30, when I told them that was unacceptable as I was with 3 other ladies and that was when we had to go to dinner, she then wanted to offer an even later time. I was very disappointed and upset at the way this was handled. the next time I saw the 2 ladies trying to drum up business for the SPA they blatantly ignored me, avoiding eye contact. Very disrespectful.

I loved the colors of the ship's carpets and murals. and also the buffet dining room, very pleasing.
Cabin / Stateroom

Beds were comfy and the space was okay for 4 of us. Always clean and I looked forward to my towel animals.
Ship tip
I was not happy about a lot of things, but I guess by the time someone else I know is ready to take a cruise these issues will have been addressed. As for me I may not go on Elation again.
Only did an island tour, wish we had more time because I really wanted to take my daughter in law and friends to Senor Frogs, but we enjoyed the time we did have in Nassau.
