Review summary

Trip started out well. Staff are all great, so pleasant and helpful.  Seas were rough a couple days and all the medication didn't help.  Purchased a watch for $350 on ship and found on amazon for  $125 upon returning home. I don't recommend on ship purchase.  Excursions were fun and definitely worth the expense.

Whether you are shopping at a port, on a cruise ship, or even in your hometown, knowing the price/ value is important. I enjoy "cruise watch" shopping on each cruise (my wife shops for both watches and purses) and we have found very good prices, but some not so good. 2 cruises ago, on Celebrity, I purchased a signature watch. When I got home I found the lowest price that I could find was still $170 more than what I paid on the ship... I'm glad your watch purchase didn't detract from your overall cruise enjoyment!

dkf is correct. do your research. but also have to be careful on amazon. a lot of stuff from there is 3rd party stuff and could be fake. never know these days.

We did the same thing, only we didn't actually buy the watch onboard, we bought it from Amazon when we got home. Anyone who thinks they are getting a good deal on stuff like that on a ship just doesn't know how to shop or the alcohol got the best of them.

carnival says that they will match anyone's price, give them a call.

What medicine did you try for seasickness? Bonine (meclazine) works best for me, and I adjust it as needed.
