Q: I have heard that you have to bring your passport when you disembark in Nassau for the excursions. Is this true?

Q: On which deck do you enter and exit the boat for the Carnival Elation in Jacksonville?

A: You enter and exit on Deck 7 (Empress). For ports of call, you will enter and exit on Deck 3.Be forewarned that the ramp from the terminal to the ship is steep, but there are wheelchairs available and staff to assist wheelchair users.

A: Inspiration is assigned seating dining where as the Imagination dining room is "Your Time" dining as well as open seating breakfast

Q: Two questions about Blackjack in the casino. Are there any 3 to 2 blackjack payout tables or are all 6 to 5? Is surrender to recoup half of your bet a play on these tables?

A: On HAL ships, I play Fun Blackjack. They pay 3-2 and if you get blackjack, they pay you right then. No push on blackjack. They take out all the kings from the deck. No auto shufflers and they use 8 decks. If you play at the high stakes table, so... metimes they pay 3-2 there.See More

Q: Do they have an elevator for embarkation if using a scooter on the Elation? We saw YouTube videos and atrium is on the 7th deck. Seems far to go with a scooter or cane. My husband said battery would probably have to be changed to be able to make it up 7 decks of ramps. Thanks

A: Thanks everyone. We have several batteries if one needs to be replaced. Looks like a lot of walking uphill for people in their 70's and above. But we will make it work out of that port.

A: they will have an elevator blocked off for those with wheelchairs and such. my aunt needed a wheelchair getting off and they had 1 elevator open for those passengers. extremely easy. might take a bit longer, but just have patience

A: My wife uses a mobility scooter too, we had no trouble navigating on the Elation. I believe embarkation was onto the third deck. Not to worry, lots of elevators to use too.Have a great time!

Q: In the ocean view room do they have fridge in them ?? My husband has meds that has to be in fridge

A: they do, but keep in mind, it's more of a cooler. doesn't really keep things cold, cold, more like cool

A: if you need special cooler for insulan I've been told you can ask. my hubby takes insulin and the "fridge" keeps it cool enough so we have never asked for one.

Q: I would like to take my motorized scooter but it says it 1â to wide at the armrests. Itâs a small scooter so I donât know why it wonât fit. Iâve seen them sitting in the hallways all the time but they are saying itâs not allowed. Hate to have to rent one when I already have one. Any opinions or advice?

Q: At one time I thought cruisers could pay for an âexcursionâ on the ship and visit the bridge, where they drive the ship. Do they still allow this?

A: It is called "Behind the Fun". It sells out very quickly and you cannot purchase it in advance. You should go to excursion desk immediately upon boarding. If you wait it may be all sold out.

A: I cruised on The Dream at Christmas time. The ship was decorated for the Holidays and we sang Christmas carols in the Atrium area. It was really nice.
