Review summary

It is a lower rate cruise/destination if one has never been on a cruise ship before as they would not have others to compare to. An older boat, going to the Bahamas...not an exotic port of call. For 1st time cruisers, they would enjoy. Experienced cruisers would see the less than average environment and port of call. However the service was fantastic. Was perfect for what we were looking for the time we had available. Nice cruise but not comparable to other larger boats or other ports of call- Key West, Cozumel, or other Caribbean Islands.

Nice. Awesome product well managed

Crystal Palace Casino

3 out of 5

4 out of 5

Service and Staff

Our cabin steward was awesome! Give him a raise!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was very clean at all times. It is an older ship requiring attention to rust in several areas especially near walk ways as they present a laceration hazard--Lido deck interior wall stringers specifically

Cabin / Stateroom

Awesome! Cabin steward was great!!

Ship tip

It is a small older ship-Don't expect the fancy settings/decor as found on newer ships. Good for a quick relaxing get-a-way. If the passenger is a smoker, additional smoking options/areas should be made available other than in the casino--always smoke filled, or outside in the front of the ship, outside. As an ex smoker, this is only opinion.

Ports of call

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

3 out of 5
No excursion-Very small island with little to do-Pushy vendors. If one has never been to the Bahamas, this would be an exciting port especially if an excursion was booked.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
No excursion-More to do and see than in Freeport. If one has never been to the Bahamas, this would be an exciting port especially if an excursion was booked.

Disembarkation

By the time we left our cabin with our bags in hand, it was 1 hour before we were in our car in the on-property parking lot. Not super fast but not really slow either.

To each it's own. We love the Bahamas and never have a complaint about the ships, so would do it again!

That was very well put!!! That was my first cruise and loved it. Going on my 14th and I would not be overly excited about it!!!
