Review summary

Not the best cruise to go on, worse experience on carnival.

Food was limited choice, felt the boat every move, got sick even after taking motion sick meds. Bad smell, water overflow in the hallways, it was the worse experience i ever encountered on carnival.

It doesn't matter if it's a budget or a short party cruise. No one wants water to gurgle up through the floors in the bathroom. The same thing happened to me on my cruise on the Ecstasy the week before. I wish people would stop making excuses for Carnival. I still paid money for this cruise.

I would not judge Carnival based on a short cruise from a non-traditional port on one of the oldest ships in the fleet. These cruises are primarily aimed at first time, budget-conscious and “party” cruisers and a way for the cruise line to get a few more years use out of the ship. Try a 7 day or more itinerary on a newer ship for a better experience.
