This was our third cruise with Carnival out of Charleston and they never disappoint! We will be back very soon!!

We ate breakfast and brunch in the dining rooms and other than a slight wait it was awesome! We also ate dinner in the dining room which was delish and fun! Guys Burgers, Pizza, Deli and Blue Iguana was great for lunch! We never used the buffet but the area seemed plentiful and clean! Ice cream machines were broken and repaired daily which is to be expected with that many people!
Onboard Activities

Water slides, putt-putt, ping pong and corn hole were a hit for our kiddos!

We enjoyed all the entertainment offered! The music shows were awesome and the comedy shows were hilarious!!

Our room steward Marvin was great! He kept our room neat and fully stocked and checked on us any time he saw us! Our wait staff was amazing as well! Always eager to please us! Any time we saw ship personnel they always spoke and smiled!

I love the size and layout! Very easy to find your way around! Everywhere was nice and tidy!

Perfect for my family of four! Linens soft and beds comfortable! Bathroom was great and the shower pressure is amazing!
Ship tip
Keep in mind she is an older smaller ship with some showing of age but she doesn't disappoint! Sit back, relax and cruise!
One of our favorites! Second year in a row we have visited "MaMa" at La Casa En La Playa and there is no other excursion for us! They treat you just like family!
Beautiful beaches with great snorkeling! Grab some cereal from the buffet to feed the fish while you snorkel but be sure to have your underwater camera ready! Also good shopping for souvenir's!
We usually give our room steward and dining room servers a cash tip on the last night! Usually twenty bucks each! Charleston has been super good to us each time for all three trips so hopefully she will do the same for you!!
Thanks for the detailed review! How much did you usually give your room steward and was it every time you saw him? Trying to figure out how much cash to have on hand for crew. And any other Charleston embarkation tips other than to just show up within our window of time?
