We enjoyed ourselves, but the ship is old for the cost of the cruise. Our cabin was a joke, with the beds pulled down, we had to crawl across our bed to get to the balcony and all of us bumped our heads many time.
Embarkation

South Carolina and Carnival do a good job getting you on the ship. The parking is a bit tricky, they took our parking payment and then sent us out of the gate because we were there 30 minutes early. When we return they crammed us on mini buses and put our luggage in the back of a van only to get additional tips.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Older ship, nut as many dinner options. Everynight was in the same dining room and there were no other choices. We are use to the newer ships with several dining rooms and specialty choices. Guys burgers are fantastic. We were a little suprised at how much they pushed alcohol.
Onboard Activities

Again, older ship not many choices. One small pool that was loaded with kids and no parents in site. Wanted to dance, but most clubs are on the 9th level where everyone smokes

Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Staff was great, our room steward Putra was wonderful, always friendly and smiling. The dining room servers work so hard and we had a different one each night, but Carlos stands out as being fun and welcoming
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Ship is kept very clean always, staff works very hard. The design of the ship was odd, we had to go through the buffett to get to the elevators to go back to our room on that level. Dining room was up four and the down one.

Ship tip
Its old and small, we had a good time, but would not sail on the ship again with our teens, cabin is way to small.
We cruised the Ecstasy back in 1993 for out honeymoon! That ship hooked me!! We sail in October on the Horizon for our 25th. The Ecstasy will always be special ❤️
