Review summary

Overall the cruise was great! The was the smallest ship I have been on and I really liked the layout. It only took about a day to learn the ship and where everything was located. Please take some motion sickness meds if you are prone to motion sickness. Being a smaller ship it did rock pretty rough at times. And it didn't help we were going through or around or past a storm. The food is amazing. Please order what you want. If you don't like something, try something else. Always try the port of call menu items. Your cruise it what you make it. I was with family and had an amazing time. There are things I could complain about but they are so minimal that they did not discourage me from cruising on the Ecstasy again or choosing Carnival.

Many activities on the schedule. Disappointed because the weather caused the Mega Deck Party to be cancelled.

The ship was clean. I did notice a faint smell of sewage while walking through the atrium on one of the decks. Nothing to report or complain about but I did notice it on one occasion.

Ship tip

If you are prone to motion sickness make sure to book a room in the middle or towards the front. While in the comedy club the rocking was very noticeable.

Nassau, Bahamas

Nassau, Bahamas was okay. We didn't book any excursions because of the weather forecast so we walked to Junkanoo Beach. Which is about a 20 min walk from the port. Many shops and vendors along the way. We stayed at the beach for about 3 hours before the rain set it. On the beach we enjoyed 3 beers and 3 shots for 10.00, awesome deal! After the rain started we took a taxi to Fish Fry and ate at Twin Brothers. My review for Twin Brothers is on Yelp but I will say I wont be returning.

Well I’ve read mostly all the reviews about this cruise ship. This will be my first cruise with my lovely wife. But I’m a retired Navy Man, and I’ve been on some horrible ships lol!!! But I’m looking forward to this experience, because it’s a free cruise paid for by our daughter & son Inlaw. Plus it’s gonna be like 30 family members going us from California, so whatever entertainment this ship lacks, believe me when I tell you, with 30 members of our family coming, there definitely will be enough entertainment for the whole ship lol!!! Can’t wait til December 1st 2018.
