Review summary

We had a great time on board. I wish the weather was better and the seas were not so rough. But, as far as the cruise itself we had a good time!!!

We had a great experience during embarkation. We dropped off our luggage early in the day and then just parked and walked on the ship later.

Food and Dining

We had a great dining room staff. Tutut, Wiryawan, Nant, Andres and Merel were awesome. They were there with everything we could have wanted and were just all around amazing. We had some time to talk to them and really get to know them as people, and we really liked that. They always knew what we wanted, even sometimes before us. They were great to our teenagers when they dined seperated from us, and that was also important to us.

The Neon Piano Bar

We attended this bar one time and Sam was awesome. He had the crowd involved and was great to listen to. We had a great time here.

Wind Star Dining Room

We absolutely LOVED our staff at this restaurant. Tutut, Wiryawan, Nant, Andres and Merel were amazing. We had a great experience from being seated all the way through dessert. They always had a smile on their face and were always willing to do whatever we needed. They were even great to my teenage boys when they would come to dine alone. Which was GREAT!!!

Starlight Aft Lounge

We attended almost every comedy show. They were great!!!! Even there under 18 shows were great. We thought they were some of the funniest guys we have ever seen. Vince and Rob were hilarious.

Onboard Activities

My boys went the Circle C club and the Club O2 and had a great time. They went there every time it was open. Dan and Crystall kept them engaged and busy. We did have a problem with a couple of the kids and when we spoke to them about it the problem was resolved quickly and without anyone knowing it was my kid that said something and that was GREAT!!!! The boys just kept talking about the friends they made in these clubs and still text with them now. They enjoyed the games and time they spent in these clubs.

Entertainment

We attended lots of the entertainment on the cruise. We went to everything from the Hasbro show, to the Love and Marriage show, comedy shows, America Rocks, British Invasion, and all were really good. We attended lots of shows in the Atrium and pop up parties at the pools and in different locations on the ship. My kids had a great time at all the parties. Brittany kept the ship entertained with lots to do. We attended lots of the trivia games-with everyone from Brittney, Houston, David, life size sorry-which was a great time with Houston, we did Bingo with Tennessee and had a great time at the adult scavenger hunt with Tennessee as well.

They loved the Circle C club and Club O2. It was really nice that the two of them were split up and allowed to do their own thing. It was nice they had their own entertainment and allowed them to spend time with other kids.

My son had a great time. We did have an issue with some of the kids in this club and the counselor dealt with it quickly and without telling anyone that my kid was the one that had asked for help. This was very important to us and I was very happy with the speed and results we got.!!!!!!

Noel was our cabin steward and he is AWESOME!!!! He had our room ready so quickly everyday it was amazing!!! We had four people in our cabin and he kept us in towels and anything else we could need!!!! We always had all the ship info for the day way in advance and he seemed to always be there if we needed anything!!!! We just loved that guy!!!

We had four people in our cabin so it did seem small. But, Noel kept it clean and supplied with anything we could need.

Ship tip

We would tell others to not go in January-February. The sea was so rough that sea sickness was a real problem. The weather was too cold to enjoy the pools or really to do much at the beaches during port days.
